Unless your hiding under a rock it's impossible not to spend money. One way to save some money is to shop smart. Know your prices - I cannot stress this enough. Spending time reading the sale's flyers is not a waste of time - it can mean saving a few dollars here and there.
Coupons - always keep them with you and watch the expiry dates. Buy want you need more than buying what you want. For large expenditures - wait 24 hours - think about it - ask yourself - do I really, really need this? This will cut down on the impulse shopping.
Marry for money - ha, ha - just kidding!
I wish I had a backyard - garage sales - they are a great way to make some money from your junk.
Remember one person's junk is another person's treasure.
E-bay or Kajji - a great way to sell personal items - you want to part with. Lots of people sell things on-line these days.
Instead of all those Tim Horton or Second Cup Coffee's everyday - make your own teas or coffees - you can save a few dollars doing this - and - spend it on something you really want to do - like going to the movies.
Always make breakfast and dinner - if you don't like paper bagging it to work.
Now that fall is almost here - I am going to try and paper bag some lunches - at least 3 times a week. This is my goal - remember - baby steps. As I said before - Rome was not built in a day.
A frugal lifestyle is not all bad. One example of this - a person decides to give up watching paperview movies for two weeks - and - that money goes towards their coffee habit. You see - you give up one thing - you can live without - in order to do something - you really want to do.
More about being frugal:
This lady kept her credit cards in the freezer so she had to thawe them out to use them - wow!
Micro manage your money. Well, if you cannot pay off your visa every month - then - do not use it. Use cash only - but - you have to give yourself a budget.
Always spend less than you make - keep track. If your only $25.00 ahead this month - that is better than being in the red.
Remember - be penny wise - and - always - pay yourself first.

Be Frugal not Cheap!
We all know that money just does not grow on trees - too bad - it would be nice if it did. What we all know how to do is spend money like water. Well the water trough just dried up. Your on your own. You need to learn ways to save money.
Take baby steps - is my motto. Rome wasn't built in a day. And, how you save is going to be a change to your mind-set. You need to learn how to micro-manage how you spend money.
This is why I love the frugal lifestyle motto: give up something so you can take that money and spend it on something you really need or want.
One way of not spending money - is - stay out of the shopping malls. You really don't have to be browsing around - tempting yourself - every single weekend.
De-clutter your life - and - hey - you might find that special something - you forgot you had.
Can you sell it?
If you can - and - you don't need it - why not?
Now that the summer is almost over - no more pedicures - that will save me a good $25.00 a month.
Always take a list with you when you shop - stick to the list - and you will save lots of money.
Listen to this video clip on rain-checks! Who knew?
Become a coupon Queen - that will save you a buck here or there.
Free is good. So, go to a site called: www.swagbucks.com - and win free stuff - and it's spam free.
And most importantly - remember - always pay yourself first. Because - your worth it!

Great money saving tips
You know what - most of us have our highs and lows - when it comes to saving money. We all know how easy it is to spend. But, really to save more is hard.
Okay, so some months we just break even - well - ya - I need to do better. You too, who knew?
Pledge Days - you have to pledge not to do something that costs money. Lets just say you go to Second Cup or Tim's - not once - but twice a day.
On pledge day - you go once! Sure I could have said - make your own tea and coffee or ice tea - but bad habits are hard to kick. So you have to take baby steps - or you just won't do it.
Okay, if for the most part you don't eat out for breakfast or dinner - you can do cheap lunch days. Sure I can say - hey - eat a darn sandwich you make every night - but in the summer - yuck - that's hard to do.
Let's listen to some tips on frugal saving:
Yes, this lady mentions www.swagbucks.com - where you can gets points towards gift cards.
My neice mentioned this site and believe me - it is spam free - and you do get free stuff - free is fun!

Las Vegas on the Cheap
If you save enough air miles like I did, you can get your hotel and airfare free to Las Vegas. But, you have to pay off your RBC Avion card in full - or whatever travel points card you might be using!
Also, if you have been to Las Vegas usually you will be sent Promos from the Casinos. Only use one if your planning to go during that time period. You should phone the REWARDS desk and see if you can swing a couple of night in the hotel for free. Free is good!
Before going to Las Vegas - where you spend money - here`s a funny cartoon on how to save money.
Buy cheap e-books instead of the really expensive ones. Below are some examples:
